Currently, we are working on two research projects in a lead capacity and one as a subcontractor of FÖA Landschaftsplanung on behalf of the Federal Highway Research Institute. The first deals thematically with the importance of roadside areas for biodiversity and the indirect trapping effect of roadside vegetation (https://anuva.de/news/72/fe-biodiversitaet-verkehrsnebenflaechen, https://ecotraps.jimdo.com) and the third is to update an existing working aid (leaflets on the FFH impact assessment guide). Klaus Albrecht is part of the project-accompanying working group for another research project: "Effectiveness of guidance measures for the red kite" on behalf of the Federal Agency for Nature Conservation. So it promises to be another exciting year.
As part of his work in the FGSV Working Committee 2.9 Environment and Nature Conservation, Klaus Albrecht contributed to the development of the "Notes on Risk Management and Monitoring of Landscape Management Measures in Road Construction" (H RM). It can be obtained from the FGSV publishing house: https://www.fgsv-verlag.de/h-rm-fgsv-reader
